Note: GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the English term for the German DSGVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung). Both refer to the same EU regulation on data protection.

Collection and Storage of Personal Data

When Visiting the Website

When you access our website, the browser on your device automatically sends information to our web server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is collected automatically and stored until deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your device and the name of your access provider

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically error-free provision of the website. Log data is retained only for as long as required for these purposes or by law.

3

Cookies

We use locally stored information for basic website functions. The Meta Pixel loads only after your voluntary consent. Your choice is stored locally in your browser with the time and version of the consent notice and is requested again after no more than six months.

You can manage your cookie preferences directly here on this page:

Essential Cookiesrequired

These cookies are necessary for the basic functionality of the website and cannot be disabled.

Meta Pixel

Measures page views and the effectiveness of Meta advertising. It remains completely off without your consent.

4

Disclosure of Data

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We only share your personal data with third parties if:

  • You have given your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (DSGVO)
  • Disclosure is necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO) for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
  • There is a legal obligation for disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (DSGVO)

5

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request information about your personal data processed by us (Art. 15 GDPR / DSGVO)
  • Request immediate correction of inaccurate or completion of incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR / DSGVO)

  • Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR / DSGVO)
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR / DSGVO)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

6

Data Security

We use the widely adopted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method during your website visit, in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is typically 256-bit encryption.

7

Web Fonts

The DM Sans and Cormorant Garamond typefaces are delivered locally with this website. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts to display them.

8

Google Maps

The location page offers an embedded map from Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is not loaded automatically. It is activated only after you click “Load map” and thereby consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and browser or device information and may process data in the United States. You can instead use the external Google Maps link.

9

Bsport Booking and Gift Cards

We use Bsport to provide the embedded Schedule, booking, passes, memberships, login and Gift Card functions. When you use these functions, information that you enter in the booking flow — for example contact or account details, your class or offer selection and transaction information required for a booking or payment — is processed within the Bsport platform.

For the main use of customer booking data, Bsport acts as a processor for the studio; FLOAT Studio determines why and how this data is used. You can find further information about Bsport's own processing in the Bsport Privacy Policy.

10

Cookieless Site Statistics

For aggregate website statistics, we use a cookieless Umami instance provided within our Manus website hosting environment by Butterfly Effect Pte. Ltd. The script sends page URL without query parameters or hash fragments, page title, referrer, hostname, screen size and browser language. Requests are sent without browser credentials; we do not use Umami's identify function. The hosting and analytics provider can technically receive connection data such as the IP address and user agent.

We process these aggregate statistics on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to understand overall website use and maintain a reliable, user-friendly site without advertising profiles. The integration respects the browser's Do Not Track preference.

11

Meta Pixel

With your prior consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, we use Meta Pixel ID 1712785073783265 provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. It helps us measure visits to our website and the effectiveness of Meta advertising.

At present, FLOAT sends only page-view events. Depending on your browser and Meta settings, Meta may receive the page URL, referrer, time of access, browser and device information, IP address and cookie identifiers. We do not intentionally send class names, booking details, health information, account details, payment information or form entries to Meta.

The Meta Pixel is not loaded before you consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie settings on this page; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing. Meta may process data in the United States and states in its Business Tools Terms that event data may be retained for up to two years. Further details are available in the Meta Privacy Policy and the Meta Business Tools Terms.
